(1) A person having the educational qualifications prescribed by the Act shall obtain a permit from the department to work as a meat inspector. The related arrangements will be determined by the Government of Nepal.

(3) When granting the permit according to sub-rule (1), the Government of Nepal may specify the work to be done by the meat inspector as per the need.
